An Interview with Anne Rubin

 

Our interview with Anne Rubin, Associate Professor of History at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Rubin is the author of A Shattered Nation: The Rise and Fall of the Confederacy, 1861-1868, published with the University of North Carolina Press. In the interview, Rubin discusses her new role as President of the Society of Civil War Historians and her aspirations for the next two years of her presidency. Also, Rubin discusses the potential of digital history as part of Civil War studies.
