November 9th @7pm: “Let’s Talk About It : Making Sense of the American Civil War” Part 1: March by Geraldine Brooks @ Wilmette Public Library (IL).

November 10th @7pm: "Lincoln and Citizens’ Right in Civil War Missouri: Balancing Freedom and Security" @ the Missouri State Archives (Jefferson City, MO).

November 10th @7pm: Civil War Scholars lecture series featuring George C. Rable presented by the Kanawha Valley Civil War Roundtable @ the Culture Center (Kanawha, WV). 

November 11th @2pm: “Enlisted Men of the Civil War" @ the Chickamauga battlefield visitor center (GA). 

November 11th-12th: University of Tennessee-Chattanooga’s 19th Annual Symposium on the 19th Century Press, the Civil War, and Free Expression @ the Sheraton Read House Hotel and @ UTC University Center. The symposium will feature 40 speakers from across the nation including distinguished historians and communication scholars such as Donald L. Shaw of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and David Sloan of the University of Alabama.

November 11th-13th @ ALL NATIONAL PARKS – Free admission for Veterans Day Weekend.

November 11th-12th: Mosby & Co.’s sale and auction featuring authentic Civil War clothing, artifacts and memorabilia of the type (Fredericksburg, MD).

Through November 12th: “Personal Accounts of the Civil War Experience” @ the Mount Clare Museum House (Baltimore, MD).

November 12th @10am & 1pm: “Basement to Attic Tours of Liberia Plantation” @ Liberia Plantation (Manassas, VA).

November 12th @1-5pm: “Years of Anguish:  A Nation Goes to War,” featuring acclaimed historians Gary Gallagher and Peter Carmichael @ Dodd Auditorium, University of Mary Washington (Fredericksburg, VA).

November 12th @2pm: "Children's Games of the Civil War" @ the Mansfield State Historic Site (Mansfield, LA).

November 12th @2pm: "American Indian Tribes Who Fought During the Civil War in Missouri" @ the Van Meter State Park (MO).

November 12th @3pm: “USS Monitor" with focus on artifacts from the wreck @ the NC Maritime Museum (Beaufort, NC).

November 12th @5-8pm: Luminary, 6,000 candles at the Poplar Grove National Cemetery, part of the Petersburg National Battlefield (VA).

November 12th-13th: “Camp Jones Encampment Sesquicentennial Event" @ Bristoe Station Battlefield Heritage Park (Manassas, VA).

November 12th-13th: “The Blue and Grey,” the Moorpark Rotary’s annual Civil War reenactment @ at Underwood Farms (MS).

November 12th-13th: “Battle of Secessionville," Reenactment @ at Boone Hall Plantation (Mt. Pleasant, SC).

November 13th @2pm: “Meet the Author James Morgan III” @ Manassas Museum (Manassas, VA).

November 13th @3pm: "The Confederates Gather Steam: The Great Train Raid of 1861" @ Mount Zion (Aldie, VA).

November 13th @4pm: "The Women’s Story during Civil War Day" @ Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethren (Harrisonburg, VA).
