Trivia Question:

A skirmish at this place on October 29, 1862, is widely regarded as the first time black troops in the Union Blue engaged in combat during the Civil War.

Rules & Prizes:

The first person to provide the correct answer via email to matt@civilwarmonitor.com will receive a signed set of Ronald Coddington's acclaimed Faces of the Civil War series (including: Faces of the Civil War, Faces of the Confederacy, and African American Faces of the Civil War).

The winner of the contest and the correct answer will be posted on the afternoon of Monday, December 10, 2012.
